Strings' Orientation Camp 2005 is so super duper cool, if only we could extend it. My group's so fun, unlike last year's group, so silent and I didn't even know anyone. Nevermind, here's the details of the camp.

I reached there at 7.25, only to realize that camp starts at 8. Met Shireena at Father Barre and we wandered around the school and played with the peacocks and turtles. I didn't know peacocks go HONK! HONK! too until Monday, when we were sneaking around the peacock area wondering whether to go into MEP room or not. We were like trying to listen if our seniors were outside the room, then suddenly HONK! and we were like so shocked. Haha. We decided to go to the MEP room at 8.15, but then heard Mrs Tham scolding the organizers from the 2nd level and we're like "Oh shit." The door only opened at 8.20.

Had icebreakers. Ok, fine. The usual stuff. Quite fun though, but I hate running, even if it's only for two or three metres.

Had morning practice, then lunch and sectionals. Boring.

Scavenger hunt was like so damn difficult. I swear I had lost some pounds with all that running, but I quickly caught up with my original weight with Marche and McDonald's. The clues were like so unsolvable (is there such a word?) and there was one which which was stuck 2 metres above us. Last year was worse though, I had a headache, yet had to run. :( There's this station where we have to choose a number and eat something. I chose 7, I think and got this bowl of hair. Yes, and I have to eat it. Ok, it's not hair, but it tastes and look exactly like hair. Tastes horrible, ok? I almost wanted to vomit, but Rachel said that we would lose 5 ice cream sticks. Ya. But I threw it in the dustbin beside me when Rachel wasn't looking! I'm pro, ar? :)) Oh well, but I can't to suffer a minute chewing that stinky thing.

Shireena and I sneaked to a toilet that we were not supposed to go to and practically spent 45 mins bathing. Haha. Sorry.

Dinner at Mc's then I saw Liyi and she forbidded me to eat eggs.

After dinner, we had election for 2006 president and vice-president. Su Lao Shi went haywire. or so we thought, and started shouting. Ok, not really haywire, don't get the wrong idea that he went crazy, just that he called the president into the office and the current librarian and started shouting at them. The librarian had lost $500 worth of scores and he was like asking her to search in the office with lights off. He's not sadistic. Just read on, very interesting. He was like shouting "WHERE ARE THE SCORES? JOY SAID SHE GAVE THEM TO YOU!... DON'T CRY!... IF YOU DON'T FIND IT, YOU'LL HAVE TO SLEEP OUTSIDE... NO SCORES. NO JIA LING!" and we were trying very hard not to laugh at the 'no Jia Ling' part. It was really very scary at that time, as in he just shouted at her suddenly and we were like, complete silence. Haha. We thought he was kind of cruel when he asked her to search for those scores and we realized that the whole office was dark. Things started to get kinda weird. Joy was like so solemn and she said something about being responsible and stuff and she ended with "and we mean everything we said..."
Suddenly all LIGHTS OFF! Lots of screaming and running around. I would have scream on some other days, but I was like already frozen to my seat when Su Lao Shi scolded Jia Ling, so ya, I just sat on my chair in the dark with my heart thumping like hell. I would have gotten heart attack you know. When the lights were switched on 3 secs later, Joy and many people had disappeared. Su Lao Shi came out of the office looking for Joy but she's been kidnapped and we're suppose to find out who's the kidnapper. So it's something like night trail, only it's within the MEP rooms with the lights off. We weren't really allowed to use torches since they didn't inform us and the game was suppose to be a surprise, but fortunately, I had the Clan Association pen with me and I was able to use it as a torch. :)

It's suppose to be scary, but in the end, we end up laughing with the "ghosts", ok, they're not "ghosts" but the suspected "kidnappers". One of them was like so amazed by my pen and the scary effect was spoilt. Actually, there wasn't much to scream about, but don't know why the other groups kept screaming. Haha. So fun. But it's so human, as in we joked with the "kidnappers" and their tricks didn't work out because some of us had torches. It wasn't that thrilling, ya, but it's so funny. :D

Anyway, we watched Kungfu Hustle and slept at 2. :) The whole night was like so cold and uncomortable. I just couldn't sleep.

Woke up at 7.41 am, had EEGS for breakfast and entitled one free drink per S.O member. Sorry Liyi. I just couldn't help it.

Wanted to go to the staff room to check if my portfolio's ready since Mr Wong said earliest Tuesday, he would informed me when it's ready. Like he would be able to inform me like that, as in, I wasn't online on Monday night, so he could have checked my portfolio on Tuesday morning. Anyway, it wouldn't hurt to check since we had nothing to do anywhay but I didn't manage to make it to the staff room. Complications in the middle. Haha. Don't ask me why. I just didn't made it. BAH! He wasn't in the staff room (I knew he wasn't there 'cuz I heard his voice somewhere near, didn't get to see him though), lucky me, didn't waste my energy to 3 levels up.

The Sec ones performed for us and Ms Oh started talking about MEP exams and stuff. More than half an hour on MEP stuff, but we had to listen right, can't fidget too much even if we are not in MEP, in case she go haywire.

Before we went Marche, went to staff room, he wasn't there. Again I heard his voice but nevermind, maybe he's teaching or something. So just decided to head to Marche worrying about the damn portfolio. I wouldn't be in school until the 21st, so there goes my vocab list.

Oh man. Marche is like, so undescribable. It's so pretty. Sorry. But it's my first time there, can't blame me right? The trip to Marche was a pretty silent one, ya, was with Joy since everyone don't know fly to outerspace, I think. Since I didn't know how to get to Marche, so might as well accompany Joy, Bernadette and Hilary to go Taka to buy Haagen Dazs ice cream. Mr Chan sponsored us, so nice, and the ice cream costs a bomb. It's $103.50 worth of ice cream. o_0 Saw Mr Imran with his girlfriend walking hand in hand. Was it him? Maybe it wasn't. But then that person really looked like him. Only had a one second glance since we had to rush to Marche.

Went to Marche and Mr Chan was already there. Sorry, I didn't greet him because then everytime I see him, I'm reminded of our Sec one days. So scary, the way he treated us, he was so fierce last time, I have Mr Chan phobia. Oh well, he's nice actually.

Oh well, shared a dish with Joy, so I have to sit with her. Everyone greeted him and people were like staring at him, so maluating to be in the centre of attention in public. He hanged his head down. So funny. Haha. Mr Chan was at Joy's table and since I had to eat with Joy, I just sat beside him. BAH! I'm abit out of place la, all were Sec 3 and Sec 4s and most of them in com, so I'm like the youngest there, very much not involved in their serious matters. Haha. He's like keying in info for some recommendation letter, I'm like, ok fine, 2 and a half more years and I'll be in JC. Haha. But sitting beside him was so much better than what happened on 6 June, at least it's not that awkward.

Went back to school with Joy, Deborah, Bernadette and Hilary. I'm still the Sec 2 among these 4s. Generation gap, ha.

Reached school at about 3.24pm. On the way to the MEP room, I passed by the staff room, he's not there. About 3.40, I left the MEP room and while wearing my shoes, I heard his voice so loud and clear, I thought he would finally be in the staff room, but no. Argh. Was I hearing things? Cannot be, it's really his voice, although there's something wrong with my ear. He was at the Sec Three classes, but too bad, I couldn't go back down to check, anyway I think he's really busy.

I love this camp, really brought everyone, ok, most of the people, together. Its going to be stepdown soon. We'll be the oldest violin twos next year, I just realized there aren't any Sec 3 violin twos, so we'll be the one with a Sec 3 sectional leader. Haha. That's our one and only Audrey. Haha. Oh well, Joy gave me some 'valuable' advice, haha, but she seems to be reading my mind. o_0
